Kazakhstan Participated in the “Eternal Contributions” Assembly 2025 in St. Petersburg

On May 20, 2025, the annual “Eternal Contributions” Assembly was held in St. Petersburg at the venue of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The event was organized by the National Association of Endowments (NAE). It is one of the largest gatherings focused on the development of endowment funds, sustainable financing, and the promotion of a culture of philanthropy. The Assembly brought together more than 100 organizations from Russia and other countries, including representatives of educational institutions, charitable foundations, government authorities, and the business community.

This year, Kazakhstan was represented by an official delegation, which included the Director of the National Center for the Development of Higher Education, Mr. F. Sh. Kuanganov, and the Head of the Internationalization Office, Ms. A. M. Kulumzhanova.

As part of the Assembly, Mr. Farhad Kuanganov delivered a speech titled “Kazakhstan’s Endowments”, where he presented the history of endowment development in Kazakhstan, key legislative initiatives, and future plans to expand the use of endowment funds in Kazakhstani universities.

The event also featured an educational exhibition, where the JSC “Center for International Programs” from Kazakhstan actively participated. The Kazakh delegation presented various scholarship and academic programs, including the “Bolashak” scholarship, as well as initiatives aimed at international academic mobility and the training of globally competitive professionals.

The Assembly’s program included panel discussions, round tables, expert sessions, and closed business meetings. Special attention was given to sustainable management of endowment funds, regulatory issues, and cooperation between public and private sectors in supporting education, science, and culture.

Kazakhstan’s participation in the “Eternal Contributions” Assembly marked an important step in enhancing international cooperation in education and sustainable financing. It also demonstrated the country’s readiness to exchange experience and implement advanced practices in the development of endowments and the strengthening of intellectual capital.
