The National Center for the Development of Higher Education organized a Republican competition for the development of the beta version of its website as part of efforts to promote and popularize IT education and to enhance practice-oriented learning through solving real-world tasks in collaboration with specialized universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Eight teams representing higher and postgraduate education institutions from across the country took part in the competition. Following the evaluation, the winning team was recognized as the team from Astana International University, consisting of fourth-year students of the Data Science program — Yergali Arystan and Zhanat Almaz.

As part of the project, a meeting was held between the working group on website modernization and the competition winners. During the meeting, the participants discussed the students’ practical developments and proposals, as well as opportunities for further cooperation in the field of digital solutions and IT development.

The event concluded with a formal ceremony of awarding certificates to the winners.

The National Center for the Development of Higher Education expresses its gratitude to the team from Astana International University for their initiative, creativity, and commitment to professional growth. The original ideas and practical solutions presented by the students will be utilized in the further modernization of the Center’s website and the improvement of its functionality.
