Representatives of the National Center for Higher Education Development of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the 33rd Annual Joint Meeting of the ENIC-NARIC Networks, held on 24–26 May 2026 in Athens, Hellenic Republic.

The event was attended by Yerzhan Irgebayev, Deputy Director of the National Center for Higher Education Development, and Roza Baitugelova, Head of the Academic Recognition Office.

During plenary sessions and thematic discussions, participants addressed contemporary approaches to the recognition of foreign qualifications, digitalization of recognition procedures, strengthening cross-border trust, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in the verification of educational documents.

Particular attention was given to international exchange of experience, ensuring transparency in recognition procedures, and improving mechanisms for the verification of educational credentials.

Participation in the meeting provided an opportunity to explore current international practices and strengthen professional cooperation with foreign academic recognition centers.
