On August 18, 2022 in Nur-Sultan within the framework of the Forum of Science and Higher Education of the MNVO "Human capital - a key resource for the development of New Kazakhstan" an online seminar "New technologies and innovation in education" was held, which was attended by rectors and vice-rectors of universities of Kazakhstan.

The Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Higher and Postgraduate Education together with Nazarbayev University organized the event.

Narbekova Banu Mukatayevna, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan made welcoming speech.

Academician Hristo Beloyev, Rector of the Rousseau University, made a speech at the seminar on the Basic Results of the Eurasian Project "Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia through New Technologies (HiEdTech)".

The next speaker of the first day of the Forum was Professor Angel Smrikarov, head of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies at the University of Rusen, who spoke on "The System for Assessing the Degree of Digitalization of a University".

In conclusion, the participants exchanged opinions on the issues discussed during the event.

       

The project "Development of 30 educational programs of teacher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan"

On August 18-19, 2022, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with Nazarbayev University held a plenary session "Development of 30 educational programs of teacher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan" within the framework of the Science and Higher Education Forum of the MNHE "Human Capital - Key Resource of New Kazakhstan Development".

Mr. Kuanysh Ergaliev Asylkhanovich, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened the plenary session of the Forum. Maaret Viskari, Project Director of HAMK University, and Aida Sagintayeva, Deputy Head of the expert team, Dean of HSO NU, also made welcoming speeches.

Telle Hailikari and Gulzhan Azimbayeva from HAMK University (Finland), as well as Duishon Shamatov, associate professor at WSO NU, were speakers.

The Plenary session of the forum was attended by vice-rectors and directors of departments on academic affairs, deans and deputy deans of faculties of education, the heads of teaching and learning associations, curriculum developers, the Center for Bologna Process and Academic Mobility, Altynsarin NAO, representatives of regional, district and city departments of education, school principals, heads of MOE.

During the Plenary session was shown a video presentation on the history of the project "Development of 30 educational programs of teacher education.

During the Plenary session, 117 reports were presented in 30 thematic sections, which were moderated by universities that train teachers.
